Delicious Sunday brunch spot with live Jazz. Great spot for local and travelers. Excellent service.
Really slow service (but still competent) even on an off night. Goulash was good, spicy, but not exciting. Too little to go on after just one visit, but we'd give it another go.
Delightful!
Awesome place. Really relaxing with a old school decor and on the day i went was able to hear a live jazz band.
Truly a neighborhood cultural treat. Great food and splendid company.
Live Music
This is one of those frustrating places that teeter on the edge of success but don't quite get the job done. Britt Marie's bills itself as a European-influenced wine bar, and the ambitious menu includes dishes from Greece, Portugal, Lebanon, and Hungary. The wine list isn't quite as eclectic but does include some well-priced choices. The problem is, none of the options are executed very well. Dishes are indifferently prepared and use mediocre ingredients. Service is cheerful but not especially efficient, and the physical space itself is in dire need of cleaning and updating. We love to support local businesses, and there's the gem of a good idea at Britt Marie's - but they really need to improve their execution before this becomes a regular stop for us.
Almost as possible be the first Arabic I found in the place de restaurant nice Bs and Bataml where concerts sweet Mazzika jazz violin and a fast Wi-Fi
The food is very good there.
I asked for a recommendation from the staff and apparently the special of the day was an Egyptian plate made by one of their new employees that just started that day. Needless to say it was a very nice and different kind of meal with a very good blend of flavors. The bread pudding was absolutely delicious for dessert. Definitely enjoyed the friendly staff however the decor inside does not look like the pictures provided on Google. They should update them for sure. Worth stopping by for a glass of wine or dinner.
Tried this spot before with my friend and I am addicted since then. I love the awesome character and delightful food and beverages. 5 stars.
Went there for years, went down hill with the new owner. Thank god they closed today. Maybe some hope
Price went up, service quality went down
Food was ok
They serve large dishes and for affordable pricing. kind owner. 5 stars from me.
Friendly staff and good food!
Good food, great service, a bit chilly.
Food is excellent Choices are always very goodGreat menu optionsMenu changes so there are lots of choices available Staff is very professionalPrices are reasonable
Very casual, neighborhood joint for European dishes. The night my wife and I dined her the service was swift but the food was too salty—even the bread was salty.
Cool environment, pork could use some flavor.
Bottomless mimosas ftw. Good food too!
I have had many enjoyable meals here, appreciating especially the well-priced, generously served and good-quality house wine and the efficient service. But my last experience there (with an out-of-town visitor) was disappointing on both counts. The house white was of poor quality (the red was OK), the pours were scanty, and the main dishes (from the happy hour menu) took an extraordinarily long time to arrive, despite a fairly small clientele. I hope that this experience was a one-off. The dishes were as tasty as ever, though.
Torn with how to review this. Fun venue, but it was overwhelmed when we went because of lots of people for a live music event there. Servers were overwhelmed, short on glasses, and our food literally took over an hour, and even then wasn't right. But, the owner did work with us. If I lived in the area, I'd definitely give them another try, when they weren't so busy.
